The Kerala Machinery Expo begins on January 24 and will last for four days. It is organized by the Department of Industries & Commerce, Government of Kerala at Kaloor International Stadium Ground, Ernakulam. Machinery Expo, the current event, is the 4th edition. The first Machinery Expo Kerala  2016 took place in Angamaly, Ernakulam, and was a great success. In 2018, Expo’s second edition was held at Kaloor, Ernakulam, while Expo 2020’s third edition took place at Thekkinkadu Maidan, Thrissur. Machinery Expo Kerala 2022, to be held at Ernakulam, is being organised by the Department of Industries and Commerce. Manufacturers and suppliers will have a chance to network and display the latest machine tools and allied products. Also, the expo provides a platform for technology sourcing/transfers and one-to-one interactions between buyers and sellers.

The Machinery Expo 2022 will focus on Agro-based & food processing, Packaging, General Engineering, Electrical and Electronics, Wood-Based industry, Rubber and Plastic, Footwear, Printing, Pharmaceuticals, Ayurveda and Herbal Apparel, Waste Management Responsible and Sustainable Industry, Plastics Recycling, e-mobility, renewable energy, etc. It is expected to be an engaged and lively event since the major participants include Machinery manufacturers, Authorised suppliers of machinery, Research and Technical Training Institutions, Trade Promotion Organisations, Start-Ups, and Professional Associations, as well as many existing and prospective entrepreneurs.
